Your Help Is Needed for a New Bookchicagolandgolf.net

HOW WOULD YOU like to put your subconscious/intuitive mind in charge of your golf game? It’s the part of you that played your best shot, round or tournament. You can allow it to happen. In fact, I’m writing a book, The Secrets from the Golfer’s Subconscious Mind, in order to show how it’s done and what prevents it from happening in the first place. Here’s the deal: I’m a golfer and medical hypnoanalyst, have been working with players for 30 years, and have discovered some hidden areas of the mind that, when energized, enable people to play at their best. But I need more material for this book.
This is where you come in, and how you can benefit. If you’re a serious player, pro, golf instructor or simply a golf enthusiast, current or retired, you’d be perfect. I’d interview you, asking you questions such as: When and how do you play your best and/or your worst? What factors seem to affect how you play? Have you studied the mind game? Who’s been your biggest influence for your game? The time required would be under 30 minutes either in person or via Skype. I would record, transcribe and edit the interview for my book. In return, you would benefit from suggestions and observations I’d make about your game, and receive a free gift (a $99.00 value). In addition, your information, products and services would be listed in the index of the book, serving as an advertisement for you. Although the subconscious is subservient to the conscious mind, it is much more than a storage container for memories. The subconscious controls the nervous system and your automatic physical operations. Often called the irrational or reactive mind, it actually keeps you alive. Without your subconscious, your heart, lungs, kidneys and other vital organs would not function. Nor could you do anything without it. Forget the golf swing. The subconscious is responsible for many unhealthy coping actions as well. Because most of us live our lives by autopilot programs stored in the subconscious mind that were learned before the age of six, we inevitably limit ourselves with these restrictive programs. Since the conscious and subconscious operate independently, these programs can stop us from living the life we desire. And how does this relate to golf? Most golf education focuses on strategies and physical movements. This training is very important, but what trips players up most is subconscious sabotage or, at best, interference. The subconscious, however, also has a lot of positive power, more than most people imagine. Creativity, intuition and imagination are functions of the subconscious mind that can be utilized in our everyday lives, and on the golf course. With 90 percent of the human mind devoted to the subconscious, experts believe that the average person has enough brainpower to master some 40 foreign languages, memorize a complete set of encyclopedias and even complete full-course requirements from a dozen universities. Then what’s the problem with golf? Why is it so hard for the average person? Because it’s both a physical and mental game. Players have to switch back and forth from the left to the right sides of their brain, plus overcome negative programming, bad memories and changing conditions. The key is to unlock the power of the subconscious and use it in your favor when you’re playing golf.
